Education brings different things to different people. Some people believe that getting an education is the most important thing. Of course it is important because the more educated you are, the more beautiful your future will be, but that may not always be the case. A friend of mine always said she wanted to go to college and become a midwife because she loves little babies. She really is always showing me pictures of different babies on the internet and I can tell you that it is ingrained in her mind. I want to be a midwife, I want to help mothers in labor, I want to see beautiful babies being born.
There is certainly a responsibility that comes with such a job, but you must truly enjoy it. To add, even though she had completed her education and was already a midwife, she broke her leg. She fell down the stairs at home, and there was nothing she could do about it at that point, and she broke her leg. She called me and told me over the phone, crying, that she had broken her leg, that she was really miserable, and that an ambulance was coming to pick her up.
I felt terrible when she called me, especially since I was also crying on the phone. But that day I heard a very interesting sentence from a friend of mine. She said that life is not about what college you have, but about not getting hurt. She had been sick on her feet for a year and did nothing. I can tell you that she suddenly realized that there are more valuable things in life than work, but work has always been terribly fulfilling and she believes she will soon be able to return to the work she loved and adored.
