And even those that don\’t have their own website at least have their address and opening hours listed there. So, in short, we can\’t do without the internet. But for what reason, when before the Internet, companies existed and even prospered?
There are several reasons. The first and most important one is that it is a way to make yourself known to others. And this is very important, because the more people know about a company, the more they will try their products and buy from them. This will of course increase profits, which is definitely always a good thing.
We must also not forget faster communication with potential customers. They can look up information about our company much more easily and are more likely to become our real customers. Moreover, it is also true that e-mail or chat is much more convenient for many people than a traditional call. And since people care a lot about convenience, it is clear that the company will make a big plus with them.
Advertising is also very important. Certainly, the internet one is much more effective, and moreover, if it leads directly to our website, it is definitely a big plus. We can attract customers exactly the way we want, for example by showing them our stock and much more, or by presenting our products much better.
However, we must not forget that running a website is not free. That is why entrepreneurs must always calculate whether it is worthwhile for them to have their own website or whether it is better for them to have the address of the branch and their opening hours. However, the truth is that if we have at least a slightly larger company, then we simply cannot do without our own website. And we need to take this into account when planning our expenses, at least if we want to stay in the market these days.
